| With its headquarters in Mataró and more than 60 years of experience in the business, Casas was acquired by the Martí Renom group in mid-1996 and was completely restructured on the basis of a new passenger road transport philosophy from the point-of-view of a service company. Following the acquisition came a complete renovation of the fleet and newly designed services, routes, timetables, stops, and information systems for the regular service lines that serve the Maresme region, as well as those that connect the region to Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona.
